District
of Castello, one of the most caractheristic area in Venice,
still very Venetian, with its simple caffes and trattorias
alond the street "Via Garibaldi". It is very
famous for its closed island S.Pietro Di Castello, which
was one of the first Venetian settlement, and also for
the International Art Exibition which guests every two
years modern artists from all the world.
Nice area also for people who like green and peaceful
place, for nice walk or running along the green gardens
and the long Riva dei Sette Martiri, that takes yiu in
less than 10 minutes to the famous S.Marc Square. Well
served all the area of markets and fruit/vegetables and
fish daily markets, very characteristic the boat selling
vegetables which moores daily in the canal of S.Anna.
