dei Frari, one of the San Polo district, is very famous
for the beautiful Basilica of Frari of the 13th cent.
and the School of S.Rocco, well known for its Tintoretto's
paintings. It is considered one of the most caratheristic
of the city. Very well served by markets and the close
Rialto Market, where daily you can find seasonable fresh
fruit and vegetables and also local fishes. Very close
to this area also there is a famous square S.ta Margherita,
where quaint local bars are open till late in the night.
