Castello Gardens, Accademia Gallery and Doge's Palace.
The Hotel is right next to the Rialto, a name deriving
from "rivoaltus", indicating the point where
the land rose highest above the water, safe from high
tides; one of the first settlements in Venice was built
in this area. Rialto was the centre of traffic and trade.
